Friday, April 11 thru Sunday, April 13

“It is teachers like Jason Crandell who are taking the art of teaching to it’s next level.”—Rodney Yee

About Jason

Over the past 3 years, Jason has become a favorite at Lulu Bandha's. His straight forward spacious, and supportive approach to teaching yoga allows his workhops to be relaxed and accesible to a wide range of body types.

His funny dry sense of humor makes the tightspots giggle.

No matter your skill level, you are sure to leave with a deeper more clear understanding of yourself and the practice.

About the Workshop (From the Mouth of Jason)

I teach all around the country and there’s nowhere like Lulubandha's. This is the type of place where we can play and discuss, challenge and explore, and get down to the practice in a very meaningful way. And—yes—friends, this is exactly what we’ll do.

We’ll traverse a broad spectrum of the physical yoga practice—from the bold expression of arm-balances and backbends to the subtle observation of absorbing the breath. We’ll also delve into the conversation of how yogic philosophy and practice can help us weather the storms of everyday life. If I had to bet, I would wager that there will be quiet, meditative moments and plenty of irreverence and laughter.

With regards to postures, we’ll emphasize side-bending, backbending, twisting, and arm-balancing. Of course, these groupings will have plenty of preparations and modifications. We will also sit quietly and explore elements of pranayama—and, if you’re very, very good, we’ll do a restorative or two.

Thematically, we’ll explore how to create steadiness and evenness throughout the body and mind in all postures; move into the unknown; and, explore subtle, meticulous technique as a way of drawing the mind into the present moment.
